Our long term client in Corporate Training & Recruitment, Molyn Credit Limited, a credit and financial advisory services organization serving the low income population with a passion to eradicate poverty and overall improved living conditions both in the rural and urban areas is looking for Management of Information System Officer (accounts) (MIS OFFICER)

 

Job Summary

a) The job Holder will operationalize and integrated management system of a microfinance firm and will be involved it its designs and improvements with a bias in loan management and accounting.

b) Execute Standard Operating Procedures and other system requirements in consultation with the various departments, recommend improvement to existing procedures and standardizes forms used in preparation to and as a requirement for loans management systems.

 

The Role

1. Will handle daily system operations and accounting procedures of the firm system.

2. Will assist in basic accounting procedures like postings.

3. Regularly advise the management on the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System and the implementation of existing policies and procedures necessary for the attainment of company objectives.
4. Recommend measures on improving the Integrated information Management System.
5. Promote awareness to all individuals of the organization on the IMS Standards and other existing policies and procedures of the company through presentations.
6. Maintain and control records and documents of accounts  Department

 

Requirements

1. Flexibility in communication requirements (i.e. must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with people from any position in the organization.

2. Good analysis of issues and concerns and systematic operation of organizational systems and procedures

3. Must have a 
i) A diploma or degree in Accounting and ICT or IT

ii) a Diploma or bachelor degree in Business  and information (BBIT or DBIT) with a sound knowledge in accounting with at least CPA iv

4. Competencies/Skills/Others:

i) Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

ii) Must possess enthusiasm and initiative, must be able to prioritize and should be well-organized.

iii) Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in MS Office applications.

iv) Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to identify critical instructions.

 

REMUNERATION;

1. A fixed salary of Kshs 25,000.00 to 30,000.00 will be offered to the best candidate.
